Following the successful run of Ekiden 2018, on November 24, hundreds of athletes were present at Yen So Park (Hanoi) for the 4th Ekiden Run under the chairmanship of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (JCCI).
Representatives from Hino Motors Vietnam company including 1 child Marathon contestant and 8 contestants attending Ekiden, the athletes have tried their best and cooperated really well with the spirit of solidarity “1 team, 1 pledge”; showing strength and endurance not only in production but also in community-based physical training and sports activities.
Ekiden is a form of relay running from Japan. Accordingly, team members will run and hand over Tatsuki’s ribbon at a designated location. The Tatsuki ribbon symbolizes solidarity and friendship. Team results are calculated by the total running time of the members.
