HINO MOTORS VIETNAM WELCOMES STUDENTS FROM HANOI UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FOR A FACTORY TOUR

On October 18, 2024, Hino Motors Vietnam (HMV) welcomed delegation of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) for a factory tour. This visit is part of HMV’s initiatives to contribute to the development of automotive technical human resources in Vietnam.

With the goal of enhancing automotive technical human resources in Vietnam, on October 18, 2024, Hino Motors Vietnam (HMV) hosted a delegation of students from the K67 Mechanical Engineering program of HUST. The tour aimed to provide students with practical experience and a deeper understanding of the automotive industry.

During the welcoming ceremony, Mr. Yoshio Osaka, the General Director of Hino Motors Vietnam, introduced the history and development of the Hino brand and Hino Motors Vietnam.

At the event, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Luong, Director of the Advanced Automotive Engineering Program at HUST, expressed gratitude for Hino Motors Vietnam’s support to HUST through sponsorship, internships, and factory visits. He emphasized the strong relationship between Hino Motors Vietnam and HUST and expressed a desire to continue and develop this partnership in the future.

As part of the program, the delegation toured the Hino Motors Vietnam factory. This allowed HUST students to gain a visual and detailed understanding of the various stages in the vehicle production process, from manufacturing and assembly to quality inspection of finished vehicles. HMV’s engineers and experts actively shared and exchanged knowledge with the students, helping them learn practical expertise beyond the classroom.

During the visit, the students also had the opportunity to meet and discussed with the HR department and HUST alumni working in various professional positions at Hino Motors Vietnam about career opportunities and practical work experiences.

Through this activity, we hope to help students learn theory more effectively and gain a clearer understanding of future job prospects.

In the future, Hino Motors Vietnam will continue to contribute to the development of education in Vietnam in general and the technical workforce in particular through practical community activities.
